The simple thought… what are we thankful for?
How easily it slips away when every day life happens. Our worries, our stresses, and urgencies to attend to, they take away from our peacefulness, our presence, and our gracefulness. To appreciate the pace of the journey, not the destination. To enjoy your surroundings, to notice the simple beauty of just the sun as it sets…the silence, the gradual disappearance, and the rays of color that it leaves behind. To appreciate the health of your heart beat, your breath when you exert energy. Your ability to feel emotions of love, empathy, forgiveness, and gratitude. This is a gift. Never to be forgotten, never to be disregarded, and never taken for granted. Your attitude of gratitude is as rich as you choose it to be. How you move gracefully through mistakes, failures, regrets, and disappointments is how peacefully you will evolve into the authentic human being you are
